Matrix Medical are developing a new primary care centre in north Shrewsbury which will serve over 15,000 patients. The building is currently under construction (due to complete in October 2012) and they are now looking, in conjunction with the doctors and primary care trust, at the finer details of the fit-out.

They would be interested in exploring the possibility of incorporating some art in the new building, the rationale being that this would have a positive effect on patient recovery as well as on staff morale and wellbeing.

They are therefore looking for an Art Co-ordinator who will (i) hold an art or arts-related qualification and (ii) have at least 2 years’ experience in the application of arts in a healthcare or social context.
