of all - don't go finding contacts from the resources that are listed
below and just ask them for money. It won't work! You have to have a
good reason to apply for arts funding - it's not easy. Study
each arts funding source carefully and see exactly what they are offering.
Follow their guidelines for application rigidly and don't abuse the
system and waste their time and yours. |
It's
a time consuming business trying to get arts funding and don't expect
it - and for goodness sake follow all the rules, be very polite and
have a very good reason to want sponsoring - not just because you want
to paint a picture, make a film and enjoy yourself. It's a serious business. |
